OUR STORY
Darren Groves is a maufacturing jeweller with 25 years experiance. He joined his fathers jewellery business straight from school to start his four year apprentceship and continued on with his father until his retirement.
Groves Jewellery is a traditional shop where they continue to use the old fashioned equipment to make their jewellery. Cuttlefish castings continue to be used, by cutting the cuttlefish in half and using this as the mould, pouring molten gold into the mould is the foundation for how some rings are made. Another of our techniques is the hand held blow torch which uses LPG Gas. With the use of our breath and the size of the flame we are able to regulate the tempreture of the flame for more control of the heat over the piece of jewellery.
Our Vision
By continuing to use old fashioned techniques along with any new technologies and advancements in jewellery manufacturing we are able to bring you the highest quality and service for any of your jewellery needs.
